Fehonda® BS-ER EMI Absorber Pad: High Thermal Stability EMI Damping Solution

The BS-ER Absorber Pad is designed to enhance the reliability of electronic devices by damping electromagnetic interference (EMI) through noise absorption. This flexible material converts electromagnetic energy into thermal energy, preventing internal cavity resonance and the re-radiation of electromagnetic fields often caused by reflective shielding.

  • Frequency and Attenuation Focus: The pad is effective across a broad frequency band from 10 MHz to 6 GHz, delivering an absorption rate between 40 dB and 180 dB within this range.

  • Density: The density is specified as 3.2 ± 0.3 g/cc (ASTM D792).

  • Thermal Stability: It exhibits high thermal stability with a continuous use temperature range set between -40°C and 120°C.

  • Hardness and Flexibility: It has a hardness of 65 ± 5 Shore A (ASTM D2240). Its flexible structure ensures a good fit on complex surfaces and allows for easy die-cutting into various shapes.
